Butyl tape is used to insulate the terminal fittings when installing the Soleo Heat system. Grey butyl tape is used for sealing and waterproofing.
Butyl in the tape form is resistant to temperatures from -40 to +90℃, as well as UV radiation and does not lose its plasticity throughout its lifetime. In addition, it does not harden, does not crumble, butyl volume does not change and provides excellent sealing and waterproof properties.
