Single-conductor 1x6 mm2 yellow-green cable is used for earthing in photovoltaic installations. They are also used for cabling in equipment, switchgears, lighting, with operating voltages up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC relative to the ground. They are also used for laying in pipes, on and under plaster, and in closed cable trays. They must not be laid directly in gutters, cable racks, or passages.
